A buyer’s agent represents and works solely on behalf of the buyer throughout a real estate transaction. A buyer agent’s obligations to their buyer client include a full range of professional services such as full disclosure, reasonable care, accountability as well as loyalty and confidentiality. Bottom line, the buyer’s agent works for, and owes a fiduciary responsibility to the buyer and has the buyer’s best interests in mind from establishment of the buyer client/agent relationship through to closing.
